Located on the Northern coastline of Mozambique, Nuarro is the only lodge in a bay fringing the edge of the continental shelf, which makes for world-class snorkeling and diving. Soak up the sun on the tropical, white sandy beach, go for a bush ride on a mountain bike to a secret cove for a private picnic, kayak in the mangroves, or sip cocktails from your seafront chalet deck while searching for whales in the bay.
The Nuarro Lodge has ten stunning beachfront chalets and two cottages along the more than two-kilometer beachfront. The 100-m2 chalets are all built from local, natural materials and by local people. Perched on a low dune, designed to blend in with the natural environment as much as possible, all chalets have sea views and private access down to the beach. The chalets are ideal for families because they are larger and can fit up to two extra beds. The cottage (approx. 80 m2) has a smaller footprint than the chalet but is identical. You are in your little piece of heaven here, with plenty of things to do. Enjoy an array of water and land activities and take a trip to the lighthouse, where you can experience some of the most glorious views over the bay.
