Set sail on a 6-day IJsselmeer cruise through the Netherlands aboard the MS Mona Lisa, starting and ending in Amsterdam. Settle in with a welcome cocktail before exploring the city on a guided walking tour or bike ride. Sail to Lemmer, then tour Giethoorn’s canals before continuing across the IJsselmeer to Enkhuizen, where the Zuiderzee Museum offers insight into former fishing communities. Cruise on the Markermeer toward Hoorn and choose between a guided visit to Alkmaar and its Cheese Museum. Return to Amsterdam and visit Keukenhof Gardens to see famous tulip displays, or outside flower season, discover Volendam and the traditional houses of Zaanse Schans.

This morning, join an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Giethoorn, a charming lakeside town, followed by a boat ride on the canals.
Cruise on the IJsselmeer, one of the largest inland freshwater lakes in Holland. You reach Enkhuizen in the afternoon.
Enjoy time at leisure to discover Enkhuizen on your own. The Zuiderzee Museum gives you a glimpse of everyday life in those former fishing harbors (entrance fee not included).
This afternoon, join an optional excursion for both packages: Stroll through the Keukenhof Gardens(2)(only on pre-booking before departure). Outside the opening dates of the park, this visit is replaced by an optional guided tour of Volendam, a port specializing in eel-fishing, and Zaanse Schans.
Tonight's the gala dinner and evening.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
