The Hermitage Hotel is located adjacent to the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre and 350 meters from the Aoraki Mount Cook National Park Visitor Centre. Lake Tekapo is 104 km away, and Twizel is 65 km away.

The Hermitage Hotel features a range of rooms and suites, all offering majestic mountain views, most with views of Mount Cook. Guests can enjoy a range of onsite dining and bars, and free WiFi is available in the Snowline Lounge and Sir Edmund Hillary Cafe. All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom, including a shower, toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer a bathtub. Also included in each room is a satellite flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and tea and coffee-making facilities. In-room WiFi is available for an additional charge.
