Day 1: Hotel Stay in Portland, ME

Enjoy a complimentary stay at the pre-cruise hotel. The evening allows time to become acquainted with the city. For your convenience, our Hospitality Desk will be located in the hotel, and our friendly staff can assist with everything from general questions about the upcoming voyage to reservation of premium experiences. Representatives will be available to provide suggestions for dining, entertainment and sightseeing options to maximize your time here. 

Day 2: Portland, ME | Embark

On a peninsula in Casco Bay, this darling of the Pine Tree State – formerly its capital – lends urban sensibility to the wild splendor of the craggy coastline beyond. At the Old Port waterfront, restaurants and revelry now fill the 19th-century warehouses. Stroll along cobblestone streets and breathe in the fresh scent of the sea. The Citadel is known for its distinctive star shape, and while it no longer acts as a military fortress, it serves as a constant reminder of the city's history. Maritime Museum of the Atlantic  
Explore the vast collections of Nova Scotian marine history at the largest maritime museum in Canada. Covering an integral part of Halifax's history, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic includes exhibits from the first steamers to the Titanic.

All Souls Chapel  
Constructed with Prince Edward Island sandstone, this historic chapel is attached to St. Peter's Cathedral. Step inside to see this architectural masterpiece, erupting with color from the marvelous stained-glass windows featured throughout.  
  
PEI Regiment Museum  
At the Regiment Museum, explore the history and heritage of Prince Edward Island's military forces. Examine the multitude of interpretive displays, featuring over 2000 artifacts, some of which date back over 200 years.     

Confederation Museum of Arts  
One hundred years after the historic Charlottetown conference, the Confederation Centre of the Arts was launched. Today, the Centre and surrounding area host a variety of artistic programming including theatrical productions, interactive experiences, and musical events.

For a glimpse into Quebec City’s rich history, visit the Plains of Abraham where the British and French battled for control of the region and see the stunning architecture of Notre-Dame-des-Victories Church. 

Joan of Arc Gardens 
Explore this vibrant garden featuring a mixture of French and English flowers. As you walk through the lush landscape, appreciate the diverse flowerbeds where over 150 species of flora bloom and encompass the garden’s centerpiece, a statue of Joan of Arc.  

Plains of Abraham 
This historic site was the location of the 1759 Battle of the Plains of Abraham which took place between the British and French. It was after this battle that the British took control of Quebec, and after the war, were granted control of Canada. 

Notre-Dame-des-Victories Church 
Built in 1723, this small stone church is one of the oldest in North America. The church is classified as a historic monument. After its destruction during the Siege of Quebec, the church was reconstructed and today remains a significant landmark and place of worship in Quebec City. 

 

Day 10: Montreal, QC
