Victory Cruise Lines takes travelers on small ship cruises through North America’s most beautiful and historic waterways. Each itinerary explores the Great Lakes and Canadian Maritimes, including charming coastal towns, national parks, remote islands, and historic cities that large ships can’t reach. Guests visit places like Mackinac Island, Niagara Falls, Prince Edward Island, and Québec City, experiencing each stop through guided tours and local encounters.
Sailing on Victory I and Victory II, each with only 190 guests, travelers enjoy a calm and personal atmosphere. These ships are designed for close-up exploration, making it easy to dock at smaller ports. Whether admiring the cliffs of Gaspé Peninsula or exploring the vibrant culture of Montreal, every journey with Victory is designed for discovery and connection.
Victory Cruise Lines was started by John Waggoner, a cruise expert with over 30 years of experience. He wanted to offer special trips on the Great Lakes where guests could enjoy the area’s natural beauty, history, and local culture. Along with his wife Claudette, John created cruises that feel more like an adventure with purpose, not just a vacation.
Victory’s mission is to give travelers high-quality service, interesting tours, and a comfortable trip from start to finish. The company believes that travel should be more than just seeing new places—it should help guests connect with people, learn something new, and create great memories.
The goal is to keep trips simple, fun, and meaningful, where guests can enjoy both the ship and the places they visit.
Responsible Travel
Victory Cruise Lines cares about safe, respectful, and eco-friendly travel. The ships are small, which helps protect the environment and avoids large crowds in small towns. The company works hard to use fuel and resources carefully to lower its impact on nature.
Victory also supports local communities by working with local guides, artists, and storytellers who share their culture with guests. Onboard, you’ll meet LakeLorians, experts who talk about the history, food, and traditions of the places you visit.
Victory Cruise Lines trains its crew to respect local customs and treat every guest and community with care. Every cruise is planned with the idea that travel should help—not harm—the places you visit.
This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
