The company collaborates with the best local guides, experts who are intimately familiar with every corner of the region. We give back

Chile Nativo is committed to conservation and local development. The company donates USD $15 for every passenger to the Torres del Paine Legacy Fund and works with local communities by supporting small businesses and purchasing regional products. Chile Nativo sponsors schools in Cerro Castillo and Estancia Cerro Guido, promoting education in the area.

Additionally, Chile Nativo declares a #ClimateEmergency and launches its first Climate Action Plan in collaboration with Turismo Declara. Through these actions, Chile Nativo helps protect Patagonia for future generations. Become part of this cause.

We set high standards

Chile Nativo is accredited by SERNATUR, the National Tourism Bureau of Chile, and is a recipient of the Tourist Quality Seal (Sello Q). Chile Nativo has been a member of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) since 2011 and receives recognition from National Geographic with 50 Tours of a Lifetime in 2014. In 2015, Outside Magazine names Chile Nativo one of the best travel destinations.

Chile Nativo is also an official provider of the Ruta de los Parques de la Patagonia (Patagonia Parks Route). The company's founder, Gonzalo Fuenzalida, serves as the ATTA Ambassador for Chile and, in 2021, receives recognition as one of the five leading Chileans creating the future.

In 2024, Chile Nativo receives the Tourism Innovation Award from SERNATUR and the Company of the Year award at the FEDETUR Awards. The company is also nominated for the Best Tourism Offer of the Year and receives the Chilean S Seal for Sustainable Tourism.

Innovation and Sustainability
Chile Nativo embeds sustainability into its business model and long-term vision for Patagonia. The company actively contributes to reducing tourism pressure in high-traffic areas by developing programs beyond the most visited sectors of Torres del Paine National Park, helping reduce pressure on popular sites and prevent overtourism.

As part of this commitment, Chile Nativo becomes the first tourism company in Chile to measure and certify the carbon footprint of a tourism product, the W Circuit, through the HuellaChile program. To this day, Chile Nativo remains the only company in the country to achieve this milestone, assessing emissions across transport, food, heating, and operations.

A key example is Chile Nativo's operation in Cape Froward, a remote and pristine territory of high ecological value that is soon to be declared a National Park. In these areas, Chile Nativo operates under strict sustainability standards and low-impact practices, ensuring long-term conservation while providing you with meaningful travel experiences.

Chile Nativo actively contribute to the region by:

Additionally, every time you join a Chile Nativo program in Torres del Paine National Park, you directly contribute to its preservation. Chile Nativo donates USD $2 per day, per passenger, for the full duration of each stay to the Torres del Paine Legacy Fund. To date, the company has contributed a total of USD 49,054, supporting infrastructure improvements and conservation projects.
