Apumayo is a Peru travel operator and expedition company based in Cusco with more than 30 years of experience designing journeys throughout the country. You travel with a company born from hands-on field exploration, developing routes across rivers, mountains, and rainforests before becoming a trusted operator with extensive knowledge of Peru's landscapes and cultures.

Apumayo builds on a strong background in rafting and white-water expeditions, operating on some of Peru's most iconic rivers. As an authorized Inca Trail operator, Apumayo also offers tailor-made journeys across renowned destinations, including Cusco, Arequipa, Puno, Huaraz, and Chachapoyas. Apumayo continuously pioneers new outdoor experiences by exploring adventure destinations for kayaking and rafting, including the Colca and Cotahuasi rivers. Additionally, at the conclusion of every rafting trip in the Ollantaytambo region, they ensure to patronize local services for lunch from a restaurant owned by a family from the nearby community of Cachiccata.
