From Lahia Tented Lodge, take in the Serengeti's natural beauty. Central Serengeti, the Olduvai Gorge, Seronera Valley, the Grumeti River, and the famed kopjes masais are all within reach of the camp, perched on a hill overlooking the central Serengeti.
The main house offers a unique 360 º panoramic view of the landscape. There are lounges, an outdoor and indoor dining area, and a swimming pool. It has been furnished in a contemporary African design, producing a light and airy ambiance that is pleasant and luxurious. Guests can view the spectacle of the Great Migration from the comfort of their elegant tents built on raised wood platforms.
Each evening, a campfire is lit, and guests can enjoy drinks and appetizers while watching the sunset. Dinner will be served outside under the stars, weather permitting.
Activities
Hot Air Balloon
Start the day on a high note by soaring above the plains in a hot-air balloon. As the sun rises, watch the herds of elephants from above and admire the unspoiled landscape. Hot-air balloon rides are at an additional cost and are weather-dependent. The flight length varies between 50 to 90 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Bush breakfast after landing.
Visit ethnic groups
In Tanzania, a great diversity of tribes and ethnic groups are of great interest. Tribes such as Hadzabe, Datoga, Masai, Wairak, and other tribes can be visited from Tanganyika properties. The activity involves seeing the local ethnic group to learn about their traditions and way of living.
Gym
Relax, tone, and challenge yourself in the gym. The facilities overlook the great Serengeti plains. It includes a variety of free weights. Choose from a selection of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical trainers.
