Travel has the power to do more than connect people to places—it can support communities, protect ecosystems, and create lasting change. At Adventure Life, our partnerships are built on this belief. Across the globe, the work of our trusted suppliers shows how thoughtful travel can make a real difference, with our travelers playing an active role in that impact.

Growing Forests with Colombia Eco Travel

In Colombia, every journey contributes to something that lasts far beyond the trip itself. Through our partnership with Colombia Eco Travel, each traveler helps plant trees in collaboration with Save the Amazon.

In 2025, Adventure Life travelers supported the planting of 66 trees, helping restore vital ecosystems in the Amazon. What makes this initiative even more meaningful is the connection it creates—travelers receive a digital certificate with a locator, allowing them to see exactly where their tree has been planted. It’s a simple but powerful reminder that travel can leave a positive footprint.

Expanding Impact Through Khiri Travel

In Asia, Khiri Travel continues to raise the bar for responsible tourism. Earlier this year, they achieved full GSTC certification across all destinations, marking a major milestone after years of work by their sustainability teams.

Alongside this, Khiri has shifted from a traditional carbon offset model to a Regenerative Travel Program (RTP). This approach goes beyond balancing emissions—it actively supports conservation, community, and emergency response projects across the region.

In 2025 alone:
  • 14 projects were supported across Asia.
  • Projects included 6 conservation projects, 3 community support projects, and 5 emergency response initiatives.
  • $25,060.30 USD was contributed in total.
Adventure Life travelers directly contributed $1,131 USD to these efforts. From wildlife conservation in Southeast Asia to community-led programs in Sri Lanka and Laos, these funds help drive meaningful, on-the-ground change.

Supporting Education in Nepal with Mystik Mountains

In Nepal, our partnership with Mystik Mountains continues to focus on education and community well-being. Through their collaboration with READI Nepal, 10% of profits are directed toward supporting children at Shree Krishna Basic School in Changunarayan. This funding helps provide:

  • Daily school meals
  • Educational materials and uniforms
  • Sports equipment and outreach programs
  • Small but important infrastructure improvements
In 2025, Adventure Life travelers contributed $400 USD to these initiatives. While the public school’s enrollment decreased this school year, the support has become more focused—ensuring each child receives meaningful assistance that improves their daily life and long-term opportunities.

Mystik Mountains has also reached a major milestone by becoming a Travelife Partner, recognized internationally for meeting rigorous sustainability standards. From fair wages and gender equity to environmental practices and responsible operations, this certification reflects a deep, ongoing commitment to operating travel right.

Looking ahead, a special Adventure Life departure in early 2026 highlights this commitment even further. A small-group snow leopard tracking journey in the Trans-Himalaya directly supported local conservation efforts, with $200 USD contributed to the UKALI Project—helping communities and wildlife coexist through research and citizen science.

Advancing Climate Responsibility in Antarctica

In one of the most remote regions on Earth, Antarctica21 demonstrates how travel can be carefully managed to reduce environmental impact.

During the 2024-2025 season, Antarctica21's CarbonNeutral(R) certification fully offset each Adventure Life traveler's carbon footprint from Punta Arenas to Antarctica using verified projects, such as the Choapa Wind Power initiative in Chile.

By supporting renewable energy development, this program helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels while ensuring that even complex expedition travel can move toward a lower-carbon future.

Empowering Communities with Imvelo

In Zimbabwe, Imvelo Safari Lodges delivers a wide-reaching impact in and around Hwange National Park. Their work blends conservation with community development, creating benefits that are both immediate and long-term.

Recent efforts include:
  • Expanding wildlife protection through new scouts, including three women.
  • Strengthening anti-poaching efforts with a trained K9 unit.
  • Providing 140 school scholarships across 15 schools.
  • Supporting local livelihoods with sewing machines for community cooperatives.
These initiatives not only protect wildlife but also create economic opportunities and support education—helping communities thrive alongside conservation efforts.

A Shared Impact

Across every destination, one thing remains clear: meaningful travel is a shared effort. Our partners bring local knowledge, long-term commitment, and innovative solutions. Our travelers bring curiosity, care, and the willingness to be part of something bigger.

Together, these journeys go beyond exploration. They help plant forests, support schools, protect wildlife, and strengthen communities.

And with every trip, that positive impact can grow.

Plan smarter. Spend better.
