We like to immerse our kids in experiences and one of our traditions is to celebrate a highschool graduation with a travel adventure. This time was Samuel’s turn and he had a simple request to have some beach fun. My first thought was naturally Belize, where we can balance out a little jungle exploration with relaxing beach days.

Three generations with ages from 10 to 69 exploring Peru together. It was an awesome experience starting in Cusco then off to the Inca Trail all the way to Machu Picchu and finally Lake Titicaca. I was fortunate enough to experience the Galapagos Islands, but even better my parents were able to join me! We took the 10 day Galapagos cruise on the Mary Anne sailboat that gave us the true seafaring experience.
