Gable island offered nature untouched and history in the present tense. On Gable Island I saw the remains of the Yamana civilization and those of the first white settlers. It showed an infinite, primeval landscape, both magic and extreme surrounded by silence, where only the wind and the birds were heard. I experienced here a feeling of being alone in the world. This excursion was an extraordinary adventure in Tierra Del Fuego National Park.
