Science Equipment Grant to Guatemala School of Tires

Long Way Home currently is educating students through 9th grade and has finally been given permission from the Guatemalan Ministry of Education to open high school in 2018. Our current middle school teachers are creating an entirely new curriculum based on the scientific method and building critical thinking skills. Here in Comalapa, the only current high school offerings are teaching or bookkeeping certifications. Purchasing this science equipment allowed the school to receive the high school status and will better prepare these kids to help build better solutions for their world in the future!
