Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Though not the capital of modern Turkey (that title belongs to Anakara), Istanbul was the heart of first the Byzantine and then the Ottoman empire (when it was known as Constantinople), and it remains not only the most populous city in the country, but also one of the greatest cities in the world. Embark the Tere Moana, and enjoy time to settle into your stateroom before the ship sets sail this evening.
Day 2: Nessebur, Bulgaria
Located on a slender peninsula and offering one of the finest golden-sand beaches on the Black Sea, this ancient sea resort gracefully blends past and present. Admire a mix of architectural styles that span the centuries and earned the city designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Or simply enjoy the mild weather and sunny hospitality of the local people.
Day 3: Constanta, Romania
The site where Jason and the Argonauts landed after finding the Golden Fleece, according to legend, Constanta boasts 2,500 years of history but today is best known as a glamorous seaside resort. Enjoy its many ancient ruins, museums, casino, and beaches, as well as shopping and open-air restaurants.
Day 4: Odessa, Ukraine
A major seaport set on terraced hillsides on the Black Sea, Odessa has long been a major artistic, intellectual, and cultural center, and a freewheeling city with a multicultural ambiance. The Potemkin Stairs, an inviting walkway leading to the city from the sea, are a symbol of the city.
Day 5: Yalta, Ukraine
A fashionable resort since 1800, renowned for the healing properties of its climate, Yalta was the favored vacation retreat of the Romanov royal family and also the site where Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin charted the future of Europe in 1945. While here, you might visit the Chekhov House-Museum, where the famous playwright wrote his classic play The Cherry Orchard, or stroll the Nab Lenina, a palm-lined, pedestrian-only, seaside promenade.
Day 6: Sinop, Turkey
One of the oldest cities in Anatolia, Sinop boasts a history dating to the Early Bronze Age. See artifacts from its storied past at the Sinop Museum, one of the oldest active museums in Turkey, or in the Alaaddin Mosque and Alaiye Madrasah. Or perhaps you’ll view the ruins of its ancient castle and visit the Sinop Fortress Prison, once a state prison, located inside the fortress.
Day 7: At Sea
Today, you have a full day to take advantage of the luxurious amenities available aboard the Tere Moana. Attend a lecture, demonstration, or other activity arranged for you by your crew. Enjoy a massage at the spa. Pick up a souvenir at La Boutique. Take a dip in the pool. Or simply relax in a deck chair with a book from our onboard reading gallery.
Day 8: Disembark in Istanbul, Turkey
Your Mediterranean idyll ends where it began, in exotic Istanbul. Enjoy breakfast aboard before disembarking for your return flight home.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! Thanks Jamie- you are amazing!!!!

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
