Chindeni Bushcamp

Chindeni is one of four camps run by the Bush Camp Company within its 140,000 acre (566.6 sq km) concession in South Luangwa National Park, and is the company's Signature Bushcamp, set apart from its Classic Bushcamps by its lagoon and riverfront setting. The four Meru-style tented chalets stand on raised decks beneath ebony trees, one configured as a family suite, and are finished in a canvas and teak interior design. Power is solar generated, supplying lighting, battery charging, and hot water. The camp operates seasonally from 4 May to 1 November. Wildlife regularly seen from camp includes elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, and leopard, alongside notable birdlife.

Rooms and Suites
All four chalets are Meru-style tents raised on wooden decks beneath ebony trees, finished with a canvas and teak interior and furnished with a four-poster bed and mosquito netting. Each chalet has a private plunge pool and an outdoor shower. Cooling is provided by ceiling fans; air conditioning is not available. En-suite bathrooms are fitted with hot and cold running water; hairdryers are not provided.

Hotel Amenities and Facilities
The main camp area has a dining space, deck, and bar overlooking the lagoon. Camp-wide electricity is solar generated, supplying lighting, battery charging, and hot water, and WiFi is available throughout the camp. Laundry service is offered on a limited basis.
