Located just inside the main entrance to South Luangwa National Park, Mfuwe Lodge offers a great introduction to those wanting a taste of the safari camp experience without sacrificing comfort. The lodge offers 18 guest chalets situated around two popular lagoons that attract a variety of wildlife to theirs shores year-round. Suites, family chalets, double and twin chalets are offered. All are equipped with en-suite shower and bathroom facilities and sitting area.

The private decks look out upon the lagoons that attract a range of wildlife. Giraffe, hippo, crocodile, buffalo and antelope are all frequent visitors to the lagoon near the lodge. From late October to mid-December the local elephants sometimes opt to walk right through the camp lobby on their way to a favorite wild mango tree! The lodge also offers an open air bar, reception, lounge, dining room, and library with a viewing deck. Relax in the camp's swimminng pool, participate in yoga or arrange for spa services at the lodge's Bush Spa. Go on game drives in South Luangwa National Park, night drives, or guided walks. You can also visit a nearby village and school or tour a local textile company.

Whether you stay overnight, or just eat lunch here en route to another lodge, Mfuwe will offers any guest a great introduction to your South Luangwa safari.
