Kafunta River Lodge is a classic safari lodge in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, set on a floodplain overlooking the Luangwa River. The lodge features eight safari chalets and two luxury suites on raised platforms with thatched roofs and private decks. All rooms include en-suite bathrooms, seating areas, tea and coffee facilities, and a small fridge. Suites offer extra space, a mezzanine level, and larger bathrooms. Rooms are fan-cooled and designed for natural ventilation.
