Zungulila Bushcamp

Zungulila is a Classic Bushcamp in the Bush Camp Company's South Luangwa portfolio, positioned as the most remote camp in the company's circuit, in contrast to the Signature camps (Chamilandu, Chindeni, and Bilimungwe), which sit on lagoon and riverfront settings. The camp is set beneath winterthorn trees above a natural spring and floodplain on the Kapamba River, which draws game to the area and flows through the camp, forming a natural paddling area for guests.

Room and Suites
All four Meru-style tents have private verandas overlooking the floodplain and are furnished with mosquito netting. Cooling is provided by standing floor fans; air conditioning is not available. En-suite bathrooms include an outdoor shower and a bathtub, with hot and cold running water; hairdryers are not provided.

Hotel Amenities and Facilities
The main camp area has a dining area, deck, bar, and firepit for evening gatherings, with fireside dinners offered under the stars. A natural paddling pool formed by the Kapamba River flows through the camp, giving guests a spot to wade at their own convenience. Camp-wide electricity is solar generated, supplying lighting, battery charging, and hot water, and WiFi is available throughout the camp. Laundry service is offered on a limited basis.
