Day 1: Arrive to Lusaka | Fly to Kutali Camp

Upon your arrival in Lusaka, you will board Classic Zambia's very own Cessna 210 for a scenic flight to Jeki airstrip. Once you land, you will be warmly greeted by your guide who will transfer you to Kutali Camp, a charming retreat located approximately 1 hour away. Take this opportunity to settle in or board on an exhilarating game drive, immersing yourself in the captivating beauty of Lower Zambezi National Park.
 

Day 2-3: Explore Kutali Camp

Spend the next two days at Kutali Camp, a hidden gem nestled amidst the enchanting Winterthorn forest on the secluded Kulefu Island. This camp boasts an unrivaled location, offering breathtaking views of the Lower Zambezi River. Day 4-6: Fly to Lufupa | Explore Musekese Camp

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a short game drive transfer from Kutali to Jeki Airstrip. Board the exclusive Cessna 210 at Jeki Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi, and prepare for a captivating flight to Lufupa Airstrip in the Kafue. As you soar through the skies, be enchanted by the breathtaking vistas of the Zambezi escarpment, the Kafue flats wetland system, and the majestic Kafue River.

Upon arrival at Lufupa Airstrip, you will be warmly greeted by the Musekese Camp team. A short 250-meter drive from the airstrip will lead you to the tranquil banks of the Kafue River, where a boat trip transfer awaits. This serene journey will transport you to the remote Eastern sector of the national park, as you gracefully traverse the river. Once you reach the Eastern bank, a final transfer into Musekese Camp will be arranged, whisking you away on a short drive through the captivating wilderness.

During your stay, immerse yourself in an array of captivating safari activities offered by Musekese Camp. This extraordinary camp has a rich history rooted in exploration and conservation, ensuring a truly remarkable experience. Indulge in delectable meals while relishing the awe-inspiring animal sightings that await you during your game-viewing activities.

Day 7: Return Home

As your journey nears its end, savor a delightful breakfast at Musekese Camp. Take a moment to soak in the serene beauty of the Kafue River before bidding farewell to this captivating wilderness. A transfer will be arranged to the Lufupa Airstrip, where you will once again witness the tranquil waters of the river during your journey. A short drive of 250 meters will bring you to the airstrip, where you will depart for Lusaka. From there, you may catch your international flight home or continue your exploration of Zambia, cherishing the memories of an unforgettable adventure.
