Day 1: Pump Run to Jozibanini

Arrive today to Jozibanini Camp. Your arrival method depends on your origination point. If arriving from Victoria Falls, fly to Manga Airstrip and enjoy a three-hour game drive to the camp. If arriving from Camelthorn or Bomani Lodges, go on a unique six-hour-long pump run en route to Jozibanini. The camp staff have taken responsibility for maintaining not only the fuel and maintenance of these important pumps, but also providing rations and sustenance for the local workers who maintain them on a daily basis. Help the lodge staff today with these critical pump runs as you make your way towards the remote location of Jozibanini. If arriving from Nehimba Lodge, guests experience a seven-hour game drive to arrive to Jozibanini. On the way, spot game with your professional guide. As you go, stop to re-supply water pumps along the way. Settle in to your new lodge.

Day 2: Hwange National Park

  • Hotel
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Enjoy a full day exploring this remote portion of Hwange National Park. Jozibanini offers guests a few unique features that are rarely found elsewhere. A unique underground blind allows guests to view the giant herds of elephants in front of a waterhole up close and personal! Spot them even by moonlight from this safe shelter. Another unique feature of this region is the possibility to go on a mountain bike safari. The geography of this particular part of the park and the elephants have worked together to make mountain biking a possibility here. Other activities for the day include game drives, walking safaris, and pump runs.

Day 3: Hwange Park | Continue on

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
