Day 1: Arrive in Zimbabwe

Take the hour and a half flight from Harare to Mana Main airstrip. From here drive to your tented camp, home for the next two nights.

Nyamatusi Camp is a luxury safari lodge in Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Zambezi River. Fully solar-powered and built with natural materials, it offers stylish comfort, scenic river views, and close wildlife encounters.

The camp has six air-conditioned tented suites with private plunge pools, viewing decks, indoor and outdoor showers, and mini bars. Guests enjoy a bar, lounge, fire pit, wine cellar, and shared pool.

Activities include game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, fishing, and birdwatching, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, and African wild dogs. Evenings feature sundowners and fireside relaxation.

Day 2-3: Mana Pools & Sapi Concession

Spend your day on game drives and exploring the surrounding area.

Sapi Concession borders Mana Pools Reserve in northern Zimbabwe, forming part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Middle-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve. Together with Mana Pools, it encompasses a vast protected wilderness of nearly 340,000 hectares, offering unparalleled wildlife experiences.

Here, amidst its wildlife-rich landscapes, you'll encounter hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and vibrant birdlife. The park's acacia-dotted scenery offers essential shade for its vast elephant population. In this remote wilderness, far from human settlements, you'll relish the feeling of isolation and immersion in nature. Winter visits promise Africa's highest concentration of wildlife, making it an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Fly to Manga Strip | Transfer to Somalisa Camp

Transfer today with others from Nyamatusi Camp to Mana Main Airstrip. Board a short flight to Manga Airstrip then transfer to Somalisa Camp.

Somalisa Camp, which offers awe-inspiring vistas of Hwange's golden savannah plains, where guests can savor sundowners amidst elephants and the distant roar of lions. Hwange National Park's diverse landscapes, from dense forests to vast savannahs, provide an authentic African experience. As a recent repeat winner of the World Travel Awards, Somalisa Camp embodies the essence of the upscale bush camp, nestled under the shade of Acacia trees along an ancient floodplain.

Day 5-6: Hwange National Park

Discover Hwange National Park through thrilling game drives, walking safaris, birdwatching, and immersive cultural village visits. As Zimbabwe's largest park, spanning 14,650 sq km, Hwange is a wildlife haven with over 100 mammal species and nearly 400 bird species. Named after a local chief, Hwange boasts a renowned population of 40,000 tusker elephants, making it a must-visit destination. Rich in history, the park's origins date back to its designation as a royal hunting ground for the Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi, later becoming a protected national park in 1929. With its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife, Hwange offers an unparalleled safari experience in the heart of Africa.

The dry season, from July to October, offers prime wildlife viewing as animals gather around waterholes.

Day 7: Fly to Victoria Falls | Transfer to Elephant Camp

Transfer from Somalisa Camp back to Manga Airstrip for your 45-minute flight to Victoria Falls Airport. From here, transfer to Elephant Camp for the night.
