Every time you go on a trip, you take a little piece of that place with you when you come back - with these itineraries that include volunteering, you can also leave a little piece of yourself in your destination country as you participate in a service project or cross-cultural experience. Put in a few hours of labor at a traditional Ecuadorianhacienda under the shadow of volcanoes; clean up Costa Rica's beaches so that turtles can swim freely; help restore humble homes in the Sacred Valley of Peru; spread the word about hygiene and nutrition in rural communities, and work with international organizations trying to protect the fragile ecosystems for generations to come. Broaden your horizons on your next vacation and make a difference in the local community you visit! Let us know when you're ready to start planning your volunteer experience!
Kassi was really helpful in finding a safari in South Africa that met our various needs. She found things, despite my own hours of research, that I couldn’t find. She was incredibly responsive.

The itinerary was new to Adventure Life when we originally booked, but hit all the places we wanted to see. Unfortunately the September earthquake damaged one of our hotels. We caught the fact that it is not open before they did, and that was disappointing and required an itinerary revision. Also, sometimes answers to our questions were not as clear as in our past experiences with the company. Overall, it was a great trip.

The planning and pre trip logistics were excellent, no complaints.
The staff, guides, experiences, food and accommodations on the Legend were fabulous. I can highly recommend visiting the islands on the Galapagos Legend.
I had unrealistic expectations about flora and fauna in the Galápagos Islands. I was expecting lush and diverse environments teeming with friendly wild life.
The volcanic terrain is amazing, but I wasn’t expecting the pervasive dessert like terrain and climate. There certainly are amazing creatures that are relaxed around humans, but not in the quantity I imagined.
The snorkeling had its moments, but I’ve been in clearer water with more variety and quantity of fish and sea creatures.
Basically, the Galapagos is not as unique and as fabulous as I imagined. I’m glad I went, but won’t be returning.

My adviser, Christine Mayo, was excellent. Helpful, knowledgable, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with.

We booked a trip to Antarctica with Antarctica 21 through Adventure Life. It was an exceptional experience and beyond all our expectations, with the expedition leads making sure we had the full Antarctic experience. Service accomodation and food on board the Magellan Explorer was beyond anything we expected. Booking through Adventure Life was easy with the team being knowledgeable, helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
