Start in Iquitos, a key city surrounded by rivers and rainforest. At the airport, you are met and driven in a private vehicle to Nauta. A packed lunch keeps you refreshed on the way. In Nauta, one of the oldest towns in Loreto, you arrive at a private port to board the Delfin vessel. Settle into your suite, designed with local materials, handwoven details, natural cotton, and a private terrace. As the vessel enters the Marañón River, meet your naturalist guide in the observation lounge for a briefing on the trip ahead, covering landscapes, wildlife, and regional history.

Start the morning with a skiff ride through Yanallpa before breakfast, when the forest is most active. Watch the first light reflect on the water as birds and monkeys fill the air with sound. In the afternoon, travel to the Dorado River to paddle a kayak through quiet channels or try piranha fishing. After dark, join a night safari to search for wildlife, spotting glowing eyes, listening for wings, and moving along the river under the stars.

Here, you’ll meet the people who have lived in harmony with the jungle for generations, gaining insight into their traditions, daily life, and profound connection to the land. Next, you’ll journey to a place of deep significance: the Confluence. At this sacred meeting point, the Ucayali and Marañón Rivers merge to form the mighty Amazon River—the most powerful waterway on Earth. It’s a humbling moment, witnessing the birthplace of a legend. In the afternoon, you’ll walk the forest trails of Fundo Casual. With the naturalist guides leading the way, you’ll step once more into the jungle’s embrace—soaking in its sounds, its scents, and its final whispered farewells.

With warm hearts, the staff will bid you farewell as your journey comes to an end. At Nauta’s port, the team will escort you by private vehicle back to Iquitos, a scenic 95-kilometer drive. Before your flight, enjoy an interactive activity about melipona stingless bees and their crucial role in the Amazon ecosystem. You’ll also visit the Amazon Research Center for Ornamental Fishes, where you can admire the Amazon’s vibrant aquatic life—from giant arapaima to colorful freshwater stingrays.
