Arrive on an afternoon flight and be warmly greeted by your crew at Iquitos International Airport. Enjoy a private transfer to downtown Iquitos for a panoramic city tour and a welcome lunch. Continue to Nauta port to board your vessel.
Settle into your spacious suite and prepare for one of life’s most remarkable journeys. After meeting your expert naturalist guides and attending a safety briefing, gather in the restaurant for your first taste of Amazonian cuisine, thoughtfully crafted by Aria Amazon’s celebrated consulting chef, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino.

Day 2: Amazonas River | Yacapana River | Nauta Caño River
Begin the day with early morning birdwatching along the majestic Amazon River. After breakfast, embark on a skiff excursion along the Yanayacu Yacapana River, a tributary of the Amazon, to spot parrots, hawks, monkeys, and sloths in their natural habitat. As evening falls, enjoy a wildlife excursion on the mysterious black waters of the Nauta Caño River, concluding the night with remarkable stargazing under the Amazon sky.
Day 3: Yanayacu Pucate River | Marañon River | Village visit | Jungle walks
Begin the day’s adventures near the main entrance of Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, cruising along Yanayacu Pucate in the comfort of your private skiffs. Here, fish for Amazonia's notoriously ferocious piranhas while you keep an eye out for other exotic wildlife. Visit an Amazon village to interact with native riberenos (people of the river) and witness a demonstration of Aguaje palm harvesting.
Canoe and swim in the area’s enchanting black waters, while staying on the lookout for the legendary pink dolphins. After lunch, take a jungle walk in Casual’s Forest and look for flora and fauna, including medicinal trees, insects, and poison dart frogs.
Day 4: Nauta Town | Disembark | Manatee Rescue Center | Transfer to the Airport

In the morning, take a guided visit to the local market and marvel at the regional produce of the Peruvian Amazon.
Return to Aria Amazon for breakfast before disembarkation. En route to the airport, visit the Manatee Rescue Center, where orphaned Amazonian manatees are rehabilitated before they are released back into the wild.

Single Supplement: 25% in addition to the double rate as posted.
Third Person Rates: 20% discount for a third passenger sleeping on the sofa bed.
Children Discounts: Children under age 12 will receive a 20% discount. A child sleeping on the sofa bed as a third passenger in the room will pay $500 per night.
Initial deposit is $1000, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure by Bank transfer, check or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge
Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
