Kayak experts provide all the necessary gear and clothing, as well as a demonstration of how to paddle in these breathtaking glacial waters to ensure everyone's comfort and safety. Kayak from the Playa de Los Témpanos makes your way up to the glacier's front, around 600 meters away. Photograph the moment as you learn about this fantastic location. There is no maximum age limit for this tour, although participants must be fourteen years old.

Day 1: Perito Moreno Kayak Experience

  • 1 Lunch
The transfer picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the meeting point, where you will be welcomed and informed about the activity.  Appropriate clothing and equipment are provided, and the expert kayak guides give a technical safety briefing, also explaining how to paddle in these amazing glacial waters. Once ready, go kayaking from Playa de Los Témpanos, paddling towards the glacier's front, approaching about 600 meters away. Continue taking unique images of this moment while learning more about this fascinating place.

Duration: Full-day activity. One hour and 30 mins on the kayak (this may vary depending on the weather).
Difficulty level: Medium (no previous experience required).
Age Limit: The minimum age for this excursion is 14, and there is no maximum age requirement.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

Jane was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and knowledgeable. She took time to understand what my priorities were, and to answer all my queries and make adjustments to create a bespoke tour for me. We worked together to plan out a trip which I am so excited about! I usually travel independently and make my all own travel arrangements but I am so happy with the travel plans I have made with Jane for my South America trip, as this time I will be travelling solo and I have never travelled in the region before. 5 stars and much gratitude!
