Even before you arrive, be amazed by the stunning view of mountains and glaciers, which are unique to this region of Patagonia. Requires high-intensity physical efforts that push the limits of one's fitness. May include tours with multiple days in a row of strenuous physical activity or single requiring more than 7 hours of activity. Recommended for travelers maintaining a demanding fitness level.
A private transfer will pick you up from your hotel in El Chaltén and take you to the start of the walk at Rio Electrico. The journey will first take you to the Poincenot camp, where you will cross the Blanco River and then begin your ascent to the renowned Laguna de los Tres, which offers a stunning viewpoint of Fitz Roy and Cerro Madsen to the right.
Depending on the time of year and the condition of the mountain, you may encounter varying amounts of snow as you make your ascent. It's important to have the right equipment, and the guide can provide assistance with ropes if necessary. At the peak, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the Fitz Roy Range. On the way back to El Chalten, you'll also be able to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Capri Lagoon.
