Day 1: Tigre Delta

Going north from Buenos Aires, for 5 hours you will experience Tigre and the highlights on the way. The guide will point out the most emblematic and historical buildings and will tell secrets about this huge green area only one hour away from the city's downtown.

Known as the “subtropical Venice”, the Delta is an endless surface where the river is everything: people can only move by boat. Everything is subject to weather and especially to the River tide. The “Puerto de Frutos” -the old fruit port- is nowadays a handicraft market with lots of products made in this area, mainly with wood, wicker, and bamboo.

This tour is approximately 5 hours and is subject to weather & water conditions.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
