Stunning traditional architecture in Tigre, Argentina

Day 1 Tigre Delta

Just north of Buenos Aires, the 9-square-mile island city of Tigre is a region travelers should not miss to get out of the city center and explore the countryside. Your guide will point out historical buildings and sites of interest along the way. Visit the famous fruit market in which rustic weavings, cane and willow furniture, sweets, exotic flowers and, of course, numerous varieties of native fruit tempt you. A guided ferry tour of the beautiful delta ends this excursion. Sail along the delta, passing some of the uncountable channels and forest-covered islands, yacht clubs, and weekend houses in the Paraná River delta. You will be taken back to your hotel when the tour ends.

This tour is approximately 5 hours and is subject to weather & water conditions.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
