Pousada Rancho do Buna, with its rustic style, simple and cozy is in the heart of Atins, a fishing village, considered the gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses.
The pousada offers privacy and comfort with chalets or independent apartments, swimming pool, own organic garden, varied cuisine restaurant and private dock. Everything here is designed to connect you with nature and local community, by its structure, which was built mostly of recycled material, reforested wood, and recycled wood.
Cabins with fan and suites with air conditioning, mosquito net, private bathroom and balcony with a hammock. Guests have access to the pool, restaurant, organic garden that serves our own restaurant with vegetables and some fruit, little shop and massage room. The pousada also has a natural green area with many loose animals, such as peacocks, dogs, cats, fish, chickens, ducks, and geese.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
