Pousada Santa Esmeralda

The beautiful and elegant Pousada Santa Esmeralda is located in an ecological paradise only 10.5 miles from the city of Bonito. The Pousada's close proximity to the bright waters of the region's Formoso River makes it an ideal location for travelers wishing to experience adventurous Brazil with its beautiful waterfalls, natural pool for swimming, and area for free-diving.

Pousada Santa Esmeralda was designed to respect the local architecture and landscape and prioritizes rustic style, creating a private and peaceful contact with nature. The pousada features 18 suites, and guests may choose to either stay in a Premium Suite, Bungalow Suite, or Chalet. Each of the suite options is modern and very comfortable.

Premium Suites accommodate up to 5 guests and offer wide rooms, sofa bunk-bed, and balcony with a hammock. The suites are ideal for families or groups of friends. 

Bungalow Suites feature two independent suites that are not linked to one another. The bungalows are equipped with a mezzanine, a living room, and a balcony with a hammock, and are perfect for family groups.

The Chalet includes two suites and can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Pousada Santa Esmeralda features a lounge with fireplace and a piano, a game room, a tiled swimming pool with wooden decking, and a bar and restaurant. Breakfast is complimentary, but dinner and lunch are not included.
