The exceptional Pousada Casa Turquesa is located by the pier in the historic center of Paraty, a picturesque part of town. Casa Turquesa was opened in May 2008 and delights its guests with a friendly combination of charm, coziness, and modern touches while on a Brazil vacation.
Casa Turquesa features nine rooms, which were designed with great attention to detail. The architecture of each room kept tranquility and harmony in mind and offers views of Paraty from its windows and terraces. The bay, the renowned rooftops, the mountains and the dome of Santa Rita Church, the oldest religious building in town, combine to make up the scenery which surrounds the Inn. The Pousada features a recreation of the facade of an old XVIIIth century townhouse, which was destroyed in a fire thirty years ago. The facade was restored with the utmost care and consideration for the original colonial architecture.
