The Manatee Amazon Explorer welcomes up to 30 guests in spacious suites, each featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies. Designed for comfort, every suite includes air conditioning, ample closet space, 24-hour electricity with 110-volt outlets, a cozy sitting area, and a private bathroom complete with hot and cold water, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. Suites can be arranged with either two full-size beds or one queen-size bed to suit your preference.
Features onboard
The Manatee Amazon Explorer features a variety of inviting common areas where guests can relax and enjoy the journey. The lounge and bar provide a welcoming space to unwind between excursions, while the conference room—equipped with a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating—hosts daily briefings and engaging presentations by the naturalist guides. On Deck 2, you’ll find a cozy reading room and boutique, while Deck 4 offers an open-air observation deck complete with a hot tub, perfect for enjoying the breeze and watching the Amazon landscape drift by.
For exploration, the vessel is outfitted with kayaks and a fleet of motorized canoes, giving guests the freedom to venture into remote waterways and reach otherwise inaccessible shores.
Dining is another highlight on board, with both indoor and outdoor venues located on Decks 1 and 3. The ship’s talented chefs serve a diverse menu of Ecuadorian and international cuisine, paired with an excellent selection of beers and sparkling wines.
A Day on Board the Manatee:
During your Amazon expedition enjoy daily morning and evening canoe and land excursions, enthralling lectures on everything from the history and culture of the region, to the Amazon's bird, animal, and plant life. Amid the hottest hour of the midday relax in the social areas or take in the beautiful atmosphere of the Amazon Rainforest.
