Cabin Specifications
MS Fridtjof Nansen offers a range of modern, stylish accommodations designed with Scandinavian elegance and comfort. All staterooms and suites feature natural materials such as oak, birch, granite, and wool, reflecting Nordic design. Large windows or private balconies bring the polar scenery directly into the cabins, while practical amenities like climate control, TV, and spacious storage provide comfort and convenience. Higher-category suites include additional benefits such as lounge areas and complimentary access to the specialty restaurant Lindstrøm.

Features Onboard
The ship combines state-of-the-art expedition technology with a refined, contemporary Nordic ambiance. Guests can enjoy three distinct restaurants: Aune, offering home-style Nordic dining; Fredheim, featuring international casual bites; and Lindstrøm, an exclusive fine-dining venue. The panoramic Explorer Lounge & Bar is a favorite spot to relax with sweeping views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Wellness facilities include a fitness center, spa, sauna, infinity pool, and outdoor hot tubs—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.

A centerpiece of the vessel is the Science Center, an interactive hub for lectures, workshops, and hands-on learning in fields such as glaciology, biology, and photography. The ship also boasts a lecture theater, library, and the striking two-level indoor/outdoor Observation Deck, designed for wildlife spotting and scenic cruising.

Every voyage is accompanied by an expert Expedition Team who deliver in-depth lectures, lead shore landings, and guide kayak excursions and Polarcirkel boat adventures. Innovative tools like Blueye underwater drones enhance the experience by offering unique views beneath the surface. With its modern design, immersive experiences, and sustainability focus, MS Fridtjof Nansen sets the standard for next-generation expedition cruising.
