Silver Wind’s suites epitomize understated luxury, blending classic elegance with modern comforts. After the 2021 refurbishment, all suites were enhanced with new furnishings, plush carpets, and upgraded bathrooms—many now featuring both bathtubs and walk-in showers. Even the Vista and Veranda suites were redesigned to include contemporary walk-in showers. Each suite provides an inviting space equipped with a seating area, walk-in wardrobe with safe, Bose® audio system and iPod docking station, direct-dial telephone, Illy® espresso machine, refrigerator and bar setup stocked to preference, premium mattresses and pillows, plush robes and slippers, and vanity table with hairdryer and personalized stationery. Guests enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access and the refined service of a dedicated 24-hour butler in every suite. Over 80% of the suites offer private teak verandas with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, allowing panoramic ocean views. The Owner’s Suite stands as the most luxurious onboard, featuring a spacious separate living and dining area, perfect for unwinding between adventures. Every detail—from Pratesi linens to personalized touches—reflects Silversea’s devotion to refined comfort and exceptional hospitality.

Features Onboard
Following its major refit, Silver Wind introduced several enhanced amenities and newly designed spaces that elevate the onboard experience. A state-of-the-art Photo Studio, replacing the former casino, provides a creative space for guests to learn digital photography, edit images, and print professional-quality photos or postcards. A new mudroom was added to support expedition voyages, and a pool water heating system ensures swimming comfort in cooler climates. The ship’s Observation Lounge, Panorama Lounge, Reception area, La Dame, and La Terrazza were all beautifully refurbished with updated walls, ceilings, and décor, while the Fitness Center and Zagara Beauty Spa & Salon were also upgraded with modern equipment and facilities.

The Panorama Lounge offers a sophisticated social atmosphere with sweeping ocean views, where guests can enjoy afternoon tea, live piano music, and cocktails as the sun sets. The Observation Lounge, perched high on the ship, provides a peaceful retreat with panoramic sea views, an in-house library, and newspapers—ideal for quiet reflection or reading. The Show Lounge offers a variety of entertainment, from theatrical performances and classical concerts to lectures, cultural programs, and feature films, all visible from its multi-tiered seating. Guests seeking an indulgent escape can visit the Connoisseur’s Corner to savor premium cognacs and cigars, while other inviting spaces include the main bar, pool deck, boutiques, fitness center, and library.

Dining aboard Silver Wind is an art form in itself, with four exquisite venues that cater to every mood and palate. The Restaurant, the ship’s main dining room, exudes timeless elegance and serves globally inspired cuisine with open seating, allowing guests to dine at their preferred time and company. La Terrazza pays homage to Silversea’s Italian heritage, offering authentic recipes crafted with the finest ingredients such as Parma ham, fresh pasta, and buffalo mozzarella, served à la carte for dinner and buffet-style for breakfast and lunch. The Grill, also known as Hot Rocks, provides a more casual and interactive experience where guests cook their own selections of seafood, meats, or vegetables on heated volcanic stones—a concept that transforms into a gourmet salad and burger bar during the day. For an elevated culinary experience, La Dame presents a six-course French-inspired tasting menu paired with fine wines in an intimate and elegant setting, available by reservation for an additional fee.
