The Douro River, the “river of gold”, does not recognize country boundaries and flows majestically through both Portugal and Spain. Traveling along the Douro on this incredible 8-day cruise is the perfect way to visit this beautiful, natural part of the world where steep terraced hillside vineyards, typical villages, and “Quintas” with their fragrant wines appear along the banks throughout the cruise. Visit Salamanca in Spain which is rich in architectural treasures dating back through the ages.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.
