Eat, Drink, and Be Merry in Wine Country. En route to Rüdesheim, sail through the Rhine Gorge (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Take in the breathtaking views of ancient castles perched on cliffs 400 feet above the water, and pass the legendary Rock of the Lorelei—where the mythological siren’s songs lured ill-fated sailors. Take an open-air cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument. You may want to start your day with an Optional Excursion bike ride from Treis Karden to Cochem, enriched by a lunch tasting.
Alternatively, relax on the Sky Deck of your ship while sailing through the Moselle Valley, famous for its beautiful growing villages and vineyards.
Take part in a Guided Visit to one of the oldest mustard mills, dating back to 1810. Under the guidance of the head mustard “miller”, you’ll watch mustard being made using traditional skills, more than 200 years of savoir-faire, and a recipe that has been passed down several generations or join a Guided Walk of Cochem through its half-timbered houses and winding streets. Visit the hilltop Reichsburg Castle with a bird’s-eye-view of the Moselle Valley.
Walkthrough Bernkastel's colorful Old Town center and past many medieval and Renaissance buildings on a guided tour that also includes a winery visit and tasting. Cycling enthusiasts can choose to join a bike tour along the Moselle and hikers can opt to trek up to the ruins of Landshut Castle, which dates all the way back to the 9th century.
This morning, bid farewell to your cruise ship and head to Luxembourg for a walking tour of the Grand Duchy. After lunch on your own, continue to Paris via TGV high-speed train. Arrive in Paris mid-afternoon and check-in to your hotel.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
