Day 1 Bordeaux | Embark

Board the MS Cyrano de Bergerac in the early evening in Bordeaux. Meet the crew during a welcome cocktail and enjoy a delightful dinner, followed by a guided tour of Bordeaux by night. 

*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.

Day 2 Bordeaux | Pauillac | The Médoc

You will cruise down towards Pauillac. In the afternoon, join the excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Following the trail of the Grands Crus wines of Médoc, a renowned region where the most famous of all red wines in the world are cultivated.

DISCOVERY: Visit the Médoc through biking, wine and cheese. Get ready to discover the vineyards and châteaux of the region in this exceptionally beautiful area. You'll be rewarded for the effort with a lovely glass of grand cru* and some regional cheeses.

Return on board for dinner and an evening of entertainment.

Day 3 Pauillac | Gironde Estuary | Blaye

Early in the morning, cruise to Blaye. Arriving in Blaye, this superb Acropolis was the perfect look-out post to watch for invaders. The famous French military engineer Vauban built a citadel here, which is Blaye's undisputed major attraction today.

Proposed excursions:

Classic: excursion along the Corniche, or cliff route. Guided tour of the citadel. And finally a tasting of the famous Blaye "pralines."

Discovery: Blaye and its underground monuments. After your tour, walk a few more feet to a local vineyard and taste some regional products with an excellent glass of wine.

Return on board for an evening of dancing.

Day 4 Blaye | Libourne | Saint-Emilion

Cruise to Libourne, a town rich with history and full of character located at the confluence with the Isle and the Dordogne Rivers. Upon arrival, join an excursion for both packages: tour of Saint-Emilion. Return on board in Libourne. Tonight is your festive gala evening and dinner.

Day 5 Libourne | Bordeaux

  • 1 Breakfast
Cruise to Bordeaux this morning. Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 11:00 a.m.

For an optimal organization of the cruise, the organization of excursions can be modified according to the tide.
Note to coach: double-decker buses are not allowed on many roads in Gironde, including Libourne, Saint Emilion, Blaye and Cadillac.

NB: For the safety of the passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. The cruise schedule may vary according to tides and arrival times at ports of call may be subject to change.

(1) Depending on the tide, the stopover in Pauillac may be replaced by Cussac-Fort-Médoc and Libourne by Bourg.

(2) This excursion must be pre-booked in advance through your travel agent. Depending on availability and subject to favorable weather conditions.
