Day 1: Strasbourg | Embark

Guests are greeted in Strasbourg and transferred by private chauffeured minibus to Panache for a champagne welcome and an introduction to the crew. Time permitting, enjoy a walk or cycle ride before dinner on board.

Day 2: Strasbourg to Vendenheim

Your day starts with a tour of Strasbourg. Visit the 12th-century Gothic cathedral, which features a pink sandstone exterior, an astronomical Renaissance clock, and a tall spire. Continue to Place Gutenberg and La Petite France, a pedestrian area with half-timbered houses, shops, and cafés. After lunch on board, cruise past the European Parliament building on the outskirts of Strasbourg before arriving at your mooring in Vendenheim. Dinner is served on board.

Day 3: Vendenheim to Hochfelden

This morning, enjoy a cruise to Hochfelden, followed by lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive on the Route des Vins d’Alsace and have a private tasting at a renowned Domaine. Dinner on board

Day 4: Hochfelden to Saverne

This morning, cruise further along the canal to the enchanting town of Saverne. After lunch, take a walking tour of the town and drive up to Château Haut-Barr to enjoy the wonderful views. This evening, dine ashore at a traditional Alsatian restaurant.

Day 5: Saverne to Lutzelbourg

This morning, enjoy a cruise to the mooring at the picture-postcard village of Lutzelbourg, which is surrounded by hills and overlooked by the ruins of the medieval castle. In the afternoon, visit the mountaintop town of La Petite Pierre, then tour the outstanding René Lalique collection and see over 500 exceptional examples of Art Nouveau and Art Deco glassware. Dinner on board

Day 6: Lutzelbourg to Niderviller

For early risers, there is an option to go with the Captain to collect fresh pâtissiers from the local baker. Continue your cruise through beautiful Alsatian countryside, stopping off to see artisan glassblowers en route. You then ascend the unique Arzviller boat elevator that carries Panache 450 feet up the mountainside in minutes and enjoy a candlelit cruise through the two Arzviller tunnels, eventually reaching your final mooring at Niderviller. After lunch on board, set off on a tour of Sarrebourg, including visits to the 13th-century chapel containing Marc Chagall’s remarkable stained-glass window and the impressive museum of Roman and Medieval artefacts. Captain’s Farewell Dinner on board.

Day 7: Niderviller | Disembark

After breakfast, guests are transferred by private chauffeured minibus to their choice of location in Strasbourg.
