Sail the legendary Seine River on this 5-day France cruise. Begin in Paris, the City of Lights, and make your way through the Les Andelys Valley, Rouen, Duclair, and more. Explore the fascinating and historical sites of Versailles, the Place du Vieux Marché, and the famed beaches of Normandy on optional guided tours. Fall in love with the Seine as you admire the small villages which line its shores, followed by the magnificent architecture of its larger cities. As picturesque as they come, this small ship cruise is sure to delight.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Paris and settle into your cabin between 6 and 7 PM. Meet the crew during a welcome cocktail reception, then head to the dining room for dinner as she ship begins cruising the Seine for a tour of Paris by night. Enjoy the wonderful views of the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, Orangerie, the Louvre museum, the Notre Dame cathedral, and more.
Day 2: Paris / Les Andelys
Spend the morning cruising the Seine and pass the fururistic quarters of la Defense, which dominates the river with its striking combination of glass and concrete architecture. Enjoy lunch on board before stopping in Conflans Sainte Honorine. Take the opportunity to leave on an optional sightseeing tour to the Versailles palace (please note that reservations must be made in advance. Versailles is not open on Mondays). Should you visit on a Monday, visit the Malmaison castle, which is, without a doubt, the most handsome and complete achievement of 17th century French art. Return to the ship in Mantes la Jolie before continuing your cruise towards Vernon.
Day 3: Les Andelys / Rouen / Duclair
Spend the morning and early afternoon sailing the Seine as you cruise towards Rouen. Upon arrival, enjoy an optional guided tour Normandy's former capital, visiting the cathedral, historic quarters, and the Place du Vieux Marché where Joan of Arc was burned alive at the stake. Return to the ship and sail on to Caudebec-en-Caux, arriving in the evening.
Day 4: Duclair / Honfleur
Arrive in Honfleur in the morning. Join an optional sightseeing tour of the town and visit its old port, which remains as it did in the 17th century. Examine the unusual architecture of the area and admire the church of St Catherine, which was built in the shape of a ship by local carpenters. Enjoy lunch on board, then journey to Deauville on the Côte Fleurie. During the second half of the 19th century, Deauville became the hotspot for well to do Parisians and film stars from all over the world. Among its many attractions are the luxury hotels right along the sea front, the casino, marina, horse-racing track, and beachside huts. Alternatively, take a guided full-day tour (lunch included) to the beaches of Normandy (Please book in advance, as there is a minimum of 30 participants). Depart by car to reach Pointe du Hoc, passing the towns of Omaha Beach, Coleville sur Mer and its American cemetery. Stop in Arromanches after lunch to watch the film The Price of Liberty before returning to the ship for dinner and a last stroll around the old port.
Day 5: Honfleur
Enjoy one last breakfast on board before disembarking the ship in the morning. Continue onwards for your independent travels.

Kate was great to work with in the planning stage. She was prompt, helpful, and efficient. Our tour guide, Edwin, was knowledgeable and passionate. We were very happy to have traveled with Adventure Life, it made the trip easy and a true pleasure. We could concentrate on enjoying the experience rather than the details of travel.

Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!
