In the morning join a guided visit of Amsterdam. The Dutch capital is a truly delightful city with a rich and fascinating past. In the afternoon enjoy some free time or join an excursion to Haarlem. Dutch Haarlem dates back to Gothic times and this is reflected in its architecture and cobbled streets. Get back on the ship for a dancing evening. Then spend the night sailing to Wesel.
Spend the morning sailing towards Wesel. Pass through the cities of Nijmegen and Arhem, enter the Rhine River basin and cross the border into Germany near Emmerich. Arrive in Weseland visit the Dutch Open Air Museum of Arnhem. Return on board in Düsseldorf and enjoy an evening of entertainment on board.
This morning cruise to Cologne for a foot guided tour of the city. At the crossroads of Europe since the Middle Ages, Cologne has kept its importance as a vibrant commercial and industrial city, as well as a cultural and religious center. After some free time in the city be transfered by coach to Königswinter. The cruise continues along the Rhine to Koblenz. In the evening, stroll through the town and observe the famous Deutsches Eck.
Throughout this part of the cruise, see numerous castles nestled among the famous vineyards, and the legendary Lorelei rock. In the afternoon arrive in Mainz. Get off the ship for a guided tour of the city and a visit the Gutenberg Museum (closed on Mondays). Mainz was founded more than 2,000 years ago by the Romans and is currently the capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate. Return on board in Worms for an exciting dancing evening on board. Then spend the night sailing to Strasbourg.
Arrive in Strasbourg in the morning for a guided tour of the European capital. Discovery of several different neighborhoods in the city: the German quarter and the European quarter. In the afternoon, cruise to Breisach through the magnificent wine-producing region. Get back on the ship and enjoy a gala evening, as you cruise to Breisach.
Today enjoy a free morning in Breisach, an European city located in the Rhine bank and dominated by its Saint Etienne collegial. In the afternoon, join a guided tour tothe Titisee in the Black Forest. Then cruise to Basel and delight yourself with an evening of on board entertainment.
This morning get off the ship for a guided visit of Basel, an ancient medieval town situated in the heart of Europe, on the Rhine banks. In the afternoon, join an excursion to the Rhine Falls, among the most spectacular sites to visit in Switzerland. Back on the ship a dancing evening on board waits for you.

We are so glad that we chose Adventure Life. The service is top-notch. Everything is well taken care of and we just have to print the documents and go. Franny even gave us timely updates on possible airport strike.

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
