Day 1: Venice | Embark

Board MS Michelangelo at 6:00 PM and settle into your cabin. Attend a welcome cocktail party and meet the crew. Enjoy dinner on board before you have a free evening to explore the city on your own.

*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.

Day 2: Venice | Mazzorbo

This morning, join us for an excursion:
CLASSIC : guided tour of the Doge's Palace. Also known as the Palazzo Ducale, the Doge's Palace is one of Venice's most emblematic buildings. Built in the 11th century as the residence and seat of government of the Republic of Venice, it is renowned for its imposing architecture and richly ornate interior decoration. Stroll through the rooms of the palace and admire the paintings by Tintoretto and Veronese, before crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs to reach the "prison". Built in the 16th century, it was used to take prisoners from the courtroom to the dungeon. From the balconies and windows, you can also enjoy splendid views of the Serenissima and its canals. After the visit, enjoy some free time to explore Piazza San Marco.

DISCOVERY package: Venice and the Dorsoduro district.
A brief cruise through the Venetian Lagoon will bring us to Mazzorbo. Right after lunch, explore the island of Burano, known for its traditional lacemaking and picture-perfect homes that border the canals.

A private boat will bring you on an excursion for both packages to the island of Murano, famous for its glassworks. Visit a studio to watch a glassblowing demonstration. Your ship will cruise to Venice.

Day 3: Venice

Join an excursion for both packages: Food tour of little-known neighborhoods in Venice. Savor Venetian delicacies during this guided walk. We'll stroll through the age-old San Polo area, where the Rialto Market has been held for almost 1,000 years. The market is an authentic experience, from the daily catch to seasonal fruits and vegetables. Locals come here early in the morning for the best deals. It's a great place to lose yourself in Venice. The liveliest area is the fish market, with bountiful, colorful stalls full of fish and shellfish ready to be bought and cooked. Your next stop will be a typical osteria to enjoy a tasting of authentic Venetian finger foods known as cicchetti. You'll also discover buranelli, ring- or S-shaped butter biscuits flavoured with vanilla, rum or lemon, a specialty of the island of Burano in the Venetian lagoon. These tastings will delight your taste buds.

Return on board. Free afternoon and evening.

Day 4: Venice | Chioggia | Venice

The ship will cast off early this morning for Chioggia.

In the afternoon, join an excursion for both packages: Tour of Padua. Padua, Saint Anthony's homestead, spreads out from its medieval center with charming squares and palaces. We’ll visit the basilica that bears his name and his tomb.

Afterwards, return on board in Venice. Tonight is the festive gala evening.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
