The family-run hotel is situated in Menaggio, in the province of Como, at the entrance to a vast valley that connects to Lake Lugano on the west bank of the lake. Located in the village's central piazza, it is close to a pedestrian zone where you can walk to the local stores, eateries, and bars. The pier and bus stop are both just a 5-minute stroll away.

All 24 rooms underwent a renovation in 2016 and were decorated with furnishings with an antique feel, pastel hues, and pictures of Lake Como in the early 1900s. Thanks to the 16 rooms with views, you can enjoy your vacation while keeping your eyes glued to the magnificent lake.

While staying at Hotel Garni Corona, you can enjoy the lakeside promenade with a pleasant 700-meter stroll. Menaggio boasts an exclusive 18-hole golf course established in 1907 and an expansive Lido (beach club) with a beach and swimming pool. It provides a free-access public beach where musical performances, art exhibits, and craft markets frequently liven up the evenings.

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.
