Day 1: Arrive in Kyoto

Welcome to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural capital! Upon arrival at the airport, meet your driver in the arrivals lobby, who will escort you to your hotel for a seamless start to your journey. Take some time to relax and settle in, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere of this historic city.

In the evening, take a walking tour in Gion, Kyoto’s famed geisha district. Stroll through its atmospheric streets, lined with traditional wooden machiya houses and softly glowing lanterns. Your guide will provide insights into the world of geiko (Kyoto’s geisha) and maiko (apprentice geisha), along with the rich history and traditions of this iconic area.

This magical introduction to Kyoto’s cultural heritage sets the stage for an unforgettable journey ahead.

Day 2: Bamboo Grove | Zen Garden | Nijo Castle

Start your day with your guide in Arashiyama, where the enchanting and picturesque Bamboo Grove awaits. Next, visit the tranquil Ryoanji Zen Garden, renowned for its minimalist rock garden design. Reflect on its simplicity and balance, a masterpiece of Zen aesthetics that invites quiet contemplation.

Day 4: Fushimi | Uji Area

Next, head to the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum in the heart of Fushimi, Kyoto’s sake district.
