The River Resort is eco-friendly. They cultivate their rice paddy and vegetable gardens with organic matter from their compost pit, recycle non-organic refuse, use solar-heated water in the kitchens and most of their furnishings are fabricated with ecologically friendly natural bamboo. They also support the community with around 90% of their staff being Laotian.
The resort offers two pools that are just steps away from the Riverside Dining Sala. For guest's private enjoyment there are 30,000 square meters of naturally landscaped Parkland. Guests can also enjoy a one or two hour massage. Lastly, guests can go on a ride in a custom-made riverboat in the morning or afternoon.
