The afternoon, Visit Keukenhof gardens (open from mid-March to mid-May.) The other months, guided visit of Volendam and Zaanse Schans. The evening is free to do as you please or be dropped off in the center of Amsterdam for a walk around the Red Light district (transfer by coach with a supplement, to book and to pay on board.)

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
