Welcome to Jackson Hole! Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located accommodations in downtown Jackson. Tonight enjoy dinner at your leisure at one of the many local eateries located in easy walking distance.
Depart before sunrise for wildlife viewing in Grand Teton National Park. Spend the day out with your expert naturalist guide who is an excellent spotter and will treat you to the highlights and off-the-beaten-path gems of Grand Teton. Look for elk, bison, pronghorn, wolves, black bear, grizzly bears, moose, eagles and more. This afternoon, enjoy a scenic float on the Snake River, taking in spectacular mountain views along the way. Enjoy a packed breakfast and picnic lunch out in the field. Return to your accommodations mid-afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Teton Mountain Range | Bridger Teton National Forest
Hit the trail today in the majestic Teton Mountain Range with your local hiking guide. Your guide will pick you up at your accommodations and take you to one of the lesser-known trails. Hike with an expert naturalist as your guide, you will travel off the beaten path to explore the more peaceful corners of the valley and beyond. Explore the flora, fauna, and natural history of Bridger Teton National Forest as you get out and active on a guided hike. Enjoy a packed lunch along the way. Return to your accommodations mid-afternoon.
Depart early this morning for a full-day excursion to Yellowstone National Park. ​Head north this morning and Spend time exploring geyser basins the most visited area in Yellowstone National park. Your expert naturalist guide will show you lots of impressive small geysers, hot springs, and colorful pools surrounding them, witness the famed Old Faithful's geological and geothermal features that led to the conservation of America's first national park.
Continue north to the Old West town of Gardiner, Montana, Yellowstone's Northern Gateway.
Another early morning awaits as you make your way to the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. Often referred to as the Serengeti of North America, the wide open valleys of Yellowstone's northern range are home to bison, elk, bears, wolves, coyotes, eagles and more! Stop by Dan Hartman 's house, a local wildlife photographer, to say hello and view the prolific local bird life with great up close photo opportunities. Dan will share stories of his encounters with wildlife over the years and his life raising a family in their small trappers cabin in the remote community of Silver Gate, Montana.
Start the journey back towards Jackson this morning with more opportunities for wildlife viewing as you travel south. Witness the spectacular Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River and a leisurely walk to view the falls. Travel along the banks of Yellowstone Lake, the largest high elevation lake in North America surrounded by spectacular mountains. Arrive late afternoon at your accommodations.
Get out and active today in Grand Teton National Park with a private guided half day bike ride. You will be on a mix of paved and packed dirt roads as you travel along the sagebrush flats on the eastern slopes of Grand Teton National Park. The sagebrush flats are home to the roaming antelope and offers prize-winning views of the entire Teton range at a relaxing pace. Return to your accommodations mid-day. Enjoy lunch on your own and the afternoon at leisure to explore.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
