Take a walk to explore a beaver dam and the surrounding subantarctic Magellanic forest. Continue sailing toward Brookes Glacier, an active glacier known for frequent ice calvings.

Day 3: Carlos III Island

In the morning, you will sail through the Strait of Magellan to Carlos III Island, home to the Francisco Coloane Marine Park, a protected area dedicated to scientific research. This is an ideal place for humpback whale watching, and guests are invited to head out onto the outer decks in hopes of spotting these magnificent cetaceans* and enjoying a unique encounter with nature. In the afternoon, the ship will continue navigating through the Agostini Fjord, in the heart of Tierra del Fuego and the Darwin Mountain Range.

You will disembark in Zodiac boats for a gentle walk around a lagoon formed by the melting of Aguila Glacier, reaching the vicinity of the glacier to admire it in its full magnitude. In the afternoon, you will take a Zodiac navigation to approach Condor Glacier, learning about glacier formation and their influence on the dramatic geography of the Fuegian channels.

Day 5: Garibaldi and Pia Glaciers - Glacier Alley

During the early morning hours, after sailing through the Ballenero Channel, the ship will enter Garibaldi Fjord. You will then continue along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to disembark at Pia Fjord. You will hike to a viewpoint overlooking the Pia Glacier, whose main ice tongue extends from the mountain range down to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, you will continue sailing among majestic glaciers forming the so-called “Glacier Alleyˮ, offering spectacular views of this unique landscape.
