On this day tour, you will explore Patagonian nature and the Laguna Cóndor Mountain Refuge, where you can get away from the stress of everyday life and modern technology. Then, a trek to Loma del Diablo, which offers a breathtaking perspective of Mt. Fitz Roy from above, is one of the most popular excursions. Its peak is 1800 meters high, affording a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding area. Lastly, go north to the Cóndor refuge. From there, you can walk through the Lengas and beech woods to get higher.

Day 1: Laguna Condor Refuge

Unique and wild, the climb is known as "Loma del Diablo." This hike is essential for you if your interest is in taking the less-traveled routes to get a closer look at Patagonia's wilderness and capture exceptional views. You travel to the Cóndor refuge in the north, from which point you ascend by foot through the Lengas/beech woodland. You will leave the forest and eventually come to the brink of the cliff, where, if the weather permits, you may continue walking to the top over the rocky, uneven terrain without any roads. The 360-degree vistas are far beyond amazing.

Information: Pick up time is 9hs at your hotel in Chaltén. Duration: 8hs. Walking time: aprox. 5 hs. Difficulty: moderate. Minimum size of group: 2 guests.
