Legendary Lodge

Legendary Lodge sits within a century-old working coffee estate in Arusha, Tanzania. The main lodge building was once the estate’s farmhouse, and its design keeps the character of that period. Twelve cottages are spread across lawns and tropical gardens and connect to the main lodge by footpaths, pairing older styling with modern amenities. The lodge is family-oriented, with two larger family cottages for groups traveling with children. Its location makes it a practical base before or after a safari, with the national parks of the northern circuit reachable by road or by air.

Rooms & Suites
Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda, and beds come in king or twin configurations. All cottages have a sitting room with a fireplace, air conditioning, mosquito nets, a television, a telephone, a safe, a kettle, and a minibar stocked with soft drinks. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the cottages and in the main areas. Bathrooms have a deep-soaking bathtub, a rainfall shower, twin vanities, and a hairdryer. Laundry service is available at an additional cost.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
Meals are served on the garden veranda, in a private dining pergola, or as picnics on the lawns. House wines, local beers, soft drinks, juice, and water are included with dinner. Premium wines, Champagne, spirits, and cocktails cost extra. Facilities include a swimming pool, a garden spa offering treatments in the spa or in guests’ cottages at an additional cost, and a lodge boutique. Guests can use the walking and cycling trails through the coffee rows, play croquet on the lawns, or draw and paint in the tropical gardens at their own pace. Transfers from Arusha Airport are included. Transfers from Kilimanjaro International Airport cost extra.
