ASCRIGERE Education Grant

ASCRIGERE Ministry of Love had a dream of putting on some workshops with the hopes of helping local teens understand the academic challenges they would face. The organization cares for teens who were on the streets, so they have even more hurtles to academic achievement than most. The goal was to raise awareness, inform, and motivate the fight against these challenges - including their own personal academic performance, societal disadvantages, and other distractions that plague teenagers who have lived on the streets. 

It was intended that at the end of the two workshops, these young people will be able to understand their personal educational level, accept their situation, visualize the benefits that the advancement in their education could have on their life. They wanted to help them overcome the obstacles in their academic performance and to make better decisions that help achieve their goals.

The organization asked for some financial support from Adventure Life in order to make these workshops happen, and our company was happy to contribute to their cause!  The Adventure Life grant program has helped multiple organizations in the destinations to which we send travelers.  Costa Rica is near and dear to our hearts, so this opportunity was one that we could not pass.
