My mother, son and I went to Antarctica to celebrate my son's 9th birthday and my 40th birthday! We crossed the Drake Passage and then landed on the 7th continent itself! We hiked around Deception Island amongst the many species of penguins and seals. Best birthday celebration ever!
Celebrate your Birthday in Antarctica! This was my suggestion to my 8 year old son Matthew. I have 4 kids and alone time to focus on any of them is at a premium in our busy schedule of kenpo practices, Little League games, and a half dozen clubs. Adventure Life planned an extraordinary trip to Uruguay where we were able to see a colonial town, modern city, the coast life, and the countryside. They planned beautiful experiences such as olive oil and cheese tastings, and horseback riding through the country. The local tour company was excellent, all were so kind, knowledgable, and professional.
