Costa Rica Pura Vida Tour

Rio de Janeiro and Santa Catarina
My time in Brazil was filled with adventure! We climbed around on a ropes course high above the ground and rafted down exciting rivers. Our culinary tour included jumping in the kitchen and creating a masterpiece with our Brazilian chefs while sampling a local libation or two. We spent time outside Rio to explore the flora and fauna as well!

Ladies Trip to Antarctica
I had the opportunity to travel to Antarctica with two of my favorite ladies. What a trip! The most beautiful and breathtaking place I have ever seen. Kayaking amongst icebergs, penguins, sea lions and even whales. This trip was packed with adventures and amazing food! How will I ever top it?!

Torres del Paine
Of all the excursions in Torres del Paine, don't miss out on the Grey Glacier! We celebrated with Pisco Sours complete with 10,000 year old glacial ice before taking the easy trip back to the lakeshore. With the winds at our backs, the journey was calm and we could enjoy the scenery out on deck. Even with the rains and wind during our trip, our …

Panoramic Peru - September 2010
Our long-anticipated exploration of pre-European Andean culture was more informative and enjoyable than ever we could have imagined. Two very knowledgeable and agreeable guides made it so. Breathtaking scenery was the norm. The highlight and great surprise of the trip was the Colca Canyon. The sheer effort involved in cultivating such …

Our Amazing Mediterranean Honeymoon Cruise on the Wind Surf
Our honeymoon cruise started in Istanbul, where we spent a few days before boarding our ship, the Wind Surf. From Istanbul, we cruised the gorgeous Mediterranean, stopping at Turkish towns and Greek islands along the way. We had blue skies and warm temperatures all the way to our final destination of Athens!

This Girl and That Guy Escape to Peru
Months and months ago, a couple from Chicago decided to take a vacation. That guy wanted to take this girl on a special, unforgettable trip to celebrate a landmark occasion: her 30th birthday. Seeing this girl was never one to make a big deal over the day of her birth, it was quite a surprise when she agreed. With very little muss and fuss, the …

Machu Picchu Pilgrimage+Manu+Lake Titicaca
Our idea for this trip started with seeing Machu Picchu, but soon, trekking the Inca Trail became integrally important to the purpose of the trip. Dave & I are in our late 50’s. We hike, just not real fast. We were extremely pleased at how personalized the entire trip was, especially the trek. We're also not much group tour people, but …

Colombia Trip
Bogota is a high altitude city with a 500+ year history involving Spain and Europe. Of interest is the fact that the Colombian government is the most friendly to the USA of all South American countries. We saw evidence of progress in many facets of the country. The flag represent their history and culture: yellow for the gold mined, blue for the …

Chile: Patagonia and Atacama
Patagonia W route trek and Atacama Desert extension: How to sum up this trip? Of course it was a chance to see spectacular scenery, meet new people, and experience a different culture. Being open to learning about such things, knowing I will also learn more about myself, is what makes adventure travel so rewarding. Also, it's way fun.

Antarctic Odyssey

Falkland Islands Tour
Falkland Islands tour come true. It was a truly amazing tour! Actually it was a spiritual adventure in some ways and this was made possible by the warmth and friendship of all the people we met in the Falklands.
